I respect how difficult it might be to call for an appointment and want to encourage you that by taking this first step in researching a counselor, you are already on your way to healing. I like to encourage my clients in our session that the healthiest person in a difficult situation is the person that seeks help and guidance.

Getting Started

Let’s talk! Your first phone call will be a short, compassionate mental health screening with me to determine if the services offered at White Stone Counseling would be a good fit for you.

What to Bring

It can be helpful to bring a journal to reflect on your sessions after we conclude, and to use the same journal to jot down things you notice about yourself during the week.

A bottle of water or your favorite coffee is also recommended!

Your First Appointment

During this one hour meeting called an “Intake Appointment,” we will work together to assess your needs and begin a plan. Appropriate childcare arrangements need to be planned prior to our meeting.

Payment

Payment is accepted at the time of your appointment, either prior to our meeting or at the conclusion of our conversation.

Weekly Meetings

After your Intake Appointment, meetings will consist of a 45 minute conversation on-line. The program is Hippa Compliant, and easy to use. I have extensive experience in providing on-line services and you will find it engaging and personable.

I Am Here For You.

It is often helpful to ask yourself: “What do I Want? How do I Feel?” I am here to help, support, and guide you. The more open you are with me, the more we can accomplish together.
